I really loved working with Yancy and all of her girls and I know they felt beautiful when I got done. Holiday Makeup Video Blog!!!

Here is makeup that I got to do with the wonderful and talented Stylist Megan LaRussa. She came to Tori Gray and I about an idea she had about a video blog she wanted to do.  She had a debutante ball to attend and thought this would be the perfect way to showcase how to get ready for a holiday party or event.  We did her Makeup and Hair and it was amazing. When I get the video from her I will post it so you can check it out.

Carla's Trial Run/ Bridal Shoot Makeup!!

Here is some makeup I got to do for Carla for her Bridal shoot back in October. She wanted a very natural look but  wore lashes to enhance her eyes in the pictures. I also used airbrush foundation on her as I do all of my brides. It looks flawless and helps to even out the skin tone without feeling heavy.  I also filled in her brows slightly because she had a small scar. I always fill in eyebrows because it just gives you a more finished look and helps to define your face. Your eyebrows are probably the most important part of your face. The wrong brow shape can change your whole face shape. I absolutely love the way it looks and I will post pictures when I get her photos back from her Bridal shoot and her Wedding.

Fashion Show Makeup!!!

Here is some makeup I did for Anna back in October for a Fashion Show she was in. I originally met Anna back in August at a wedding I did for Shelley. She was one of Shelleys Bridesmaids and it was so awesome that she called me to do her makeup again. It means a lot for repeat business in this type of business. I am really honored for all the wonderful people I get to meet.

Excited about next year!!

I am super excited about the upcoming year and I am looking so forward to working with all of my new brides.  I am already getting SUPER busy next year and I am booking up fast.  I feel very blessed to have so many people think so much of my work and wanting me to be a part of their special day.  I really LOVE what I do and I just want to think you all for making that happen.

Katy's Wedding

Here are some pictures from Katy's wedding this past weekend.  She had 6 bridesmaids but I had another wedding earlier that morning so I had my good friend and makeup artist Laura Eason help me out. So I got to do Katy, her sister Allyson and her mother. We all had a great time and they had a beautiful day for a wedding.  I also used Airbrush makeup on all 3 girls. I just LOVE airbrush foundation.

Shasta's Trial Run and Wedding day!

Here are some shots from Shasta's Trial run and her wedding day.  I also got to do 2 of her bridesmaids. Her wedding was this past weekend and it was such a beautiful day out.  I have had so much fun getting to know her and really enjoyed doing her makeup. I will post pictures from the photographer when I receive them.

Renee's Trial Run

So I met Renee earlier this year but it is a funny story about how I finally got asked to do her makeup. I originally met her at a Bridal show I did earlier in the year. Then my friend Scot Wedgeworth who is an amazing florist suggested to her that I do her makeup. Well I was in the post office mailing some things and she was working at the counter and pulled me aside and told me who she was.....we had talked on the phone but I didn't know what she looked like. She recognized me and my name. What a small world we all live in.  I had such a good time with her and now I am going to give her lessons soon on how to do makeup for herself and her friends. I really love my job and all the fun and interesting people that I get to meet and know. Here are a couple of shots from her trial run and I will post pictures from her party when I do her makeup again this Saturday Nov. 6th.

Halloween Makeup

Here are a couple of shots from some Halloween makeup that I did. Brandy wanted to be a pink flamingo but wanted to be very pretty and girly.  I thought instead of just making her all pink I would make it more girly and flirty.  I used MAC creme color base from the Emanuel Ungaro collection: Crushed Bougainvillea with MAC pro blush Azelea. I also used MAC pink opal pigment all over her face for a very girly glow.  I also put pink glitter from MAC all over both sides of her cheeks and on her eyelids(it is hard to see in the pictures). She got some crazy awesome lashes that fit the outfit perfect. I had a blast on this one and thought it was so much fun.

Birmingham Magazine Cover Shoot!!

This was so much fun to work on.  I was so honored to be asked to do the makeup for this shoot. I also had my friend Tori Gray do the hair for the shoot. We do a lot of my weddings together and she does the hair and I do the makeup.  The two girls Marie and Kate Taylor were so nice and so much fun to work with. They are awesome musicians and you should check out their music.  Megan LaRussa was the Stylist for the entire shoot.....She has an amazing talent.  Thanks Megan for asking me to be a part of this shoot.

Barkha's Engagement Shoot, Bridal Shoot, Mehndi and Wedding Day!!
