Rawwbeauty has a hairstylist on staff!!

Hello all, I hope you are having an awesome weekend. I just wanted to let everyone know that Rawwbeauty has an official hairstylist. I would like to welcome Tammy Howell to my team. I originally started out as wanting to focus on just makeup but have found that most brides and clients want a hair as well. I have been on the lookout for someone to be with me on a permanent basis but was having a hard time finding someone. Well, earlier this year I taught a class at a local cosmetology school and that is where I met Tammy. She was really interested in working with me but I wasn't sure since she was still in school. Well, a couple of months later I did makeup for Birmingham Fashion Week and ran into Tammy again. I found out that she was selected as one of the top 12 stylists for BFW and I was blown away. Her work there was absolutely amazing and spoke volumes to me. We kept in touch and finally she decided that she wanted to come and work with me and Rawwbeauty. The rest is history and now I have a hairstylist that is not only fabulous but a hard worker and loves what she does. Welcome Tammy to Rawwbeauty!!!! Some of her work is below.

So sorry I haven't posted in a very long time. Honestly, I feel like I am not the best blogger because I don't want to write about the same ole, same ole all the time. I really want this to be interesting for you to read and great pictures for you to look at. I really want this blog to focus on what I do day to day and all the wonderful brides and people I get to meet. I will really be trying to post more of the shoots that I do as well as the weddings. I do keep up with my Facebook and Twitter accounts as well and you can always see what I am up to on there. :)

On to the fabulous Hunger shoot we did a couple of months ago. I had so much fun on this shoot. Ellie Marks of Ellie Marks Photography asked me if I would help do the makeup for this shoot and I was so excited. I knew this was right up my alley as far as the looks we were doing so I immediately said yes. I had my hair girl Tammy Howell do the hair for the shoot and she exceeded my expectations. We actually did the shoot behind Ellie's house in Ballantrae and it was the PERFECT spot. She went all out on props, food, decor and clothing for this shoot and I think it looked amazing.
